![]() There are a lot of new features in macOS Big Sur. Go to it, scroll down to Now Playing, and uncheck Show in Menu Bar, and the Music icon will disappear from the menu bar. Music: There are new settings in System Preferences called Dock & Menu Bar. Uncheck all those settings and it will not appear. > Notifications > Do Not Disturb settings. The moon icon appears because of System Preferences. From where I can get a rounded mockup or is there an online genera. Also, some applications may not honor this setting. I want to make a custom icon for my dock app based on this excellent post (works on Big Sur). If you check it, the menu bar will remain the standard gray color in past versions of OS X/macOS. If that is unchecked, the menu bar is transparent and will change depending on the desktop being used, especially if you have your desktop images set to Change picture. > Accessibility > Display > Reduce transparency. However, for a full guarantee, I used Image2Icon, free from the App Store. And you might feel just the opposite at that point.-Menu Bar: Outside of the Light/Dark/Automatic setting, I wonder if it may be related to: System Preferences. Incidentally, for the Macintosh HD disk, I used the Big Sur main icon, which you can locate by opening the macOS Installer application in Preview, then selecting a specific icon you want, then copying it. Please realize this – there’s a large group of people using an earlier version of OS. Unfortunately, as they did not do so, we are generally forced to upset one part of users – either you, the eager ones who upgraded immediately and have a very strong feeling about what their Dock should look like or upset the large portion of users sticking with older OS because they are not ready to upgrade for whatever reason. If Apple provided a way for us developers to supply different icons for Big Sur and previous versions, it would be a no-brainer and the new icons would be there from day 1. It’s “just” an icon and as I’ve mentioned elsewhere, Downie and Permute will be getting new icons by the end of this year. Please note that while I understand your point, and to some extent I do agree that developers should promote new technologies, it’s “just” an icon! And it will be updated! It’s not like if the app stopped working or you had to worry about other compatibility issues.
